Roku Media Player

The Roku 3 Media Player streams downloaded movies and TV shows from the Plex Media Server running on a computer, to a TV or amplifier via an HDMI cable.

You can listen to the audio on headphones plugged directly into the handset, which automatically mutes the sound on the TV.

The players are installed in these rooms:

• Living Room

  • • On the Harmony One Remote select Watch Roku

    • Use the Roku Remote to navigate on screen

    • The Roku remote use radio signals (RF) to communicate, instead of the usual infrared signals used by most remotes.

    • Because of this it cannot be programmed into the Harmony One Remote which only uses infrared.

    • Select Plex to watch downloaded movies & TV Shows

• Exercise Room

  • • Turn TV to Input 1

    • Use Roku remote to control TV directly

    • Plug headphones directly into the remote

• Guestroom

  • • Turn TV to Input 3

    • Use Roku remote to control TV directly

    • Plug headphones directly into the remote

• • Sayulita

    • Spare one for use in Sayulita when we get our own place there!

    • Currently stored in travel drawer in Guestroom.

In addition there is one installed in the Suite that shares our Plex Media Server.
