This is the main controller for all devices in the house.

Samsung SmartThings Hub

It is connected directly to the main home Router.

It communicates to all devices in the house using a mesh network. A Mesh Network means that some of the devices are capable of acting as repeaters to extend the wireless network further than the base Controller unit may be able to reach.
