How various devices are connected to create a home Local Area Network (LAN).
SHAW is our Internet Service Provider (ISP), and both the TV and Internet service is provided via a single coaxial cable that connects to the Cable Modem.
The Cable Modem then connects to the Wireless Router, via an ethernet cable, which creates both the wired and wireless portion of the Local Area Network (LAN).
The Network Attached Storage devices connect directly to the Router via an ethernet cable to make it available to all computers on the network.
