Backup Drives

These are the external disk drives we use to back data from the Network Data drive.

These drives are kept in the Computer Safe.

Buffalo Mini 500GB External Backup Drive

This device plugs into the USB port on the laptop using a mini cable that also supplies the power directly to the drive.

It is kept in the upper drawer of the Computer Safe.

NexStar Full Size 500GB External Backup Drive

This device needs a separate power supply and connects to the laptop with a standard USB chord.

The drive is kept in the lower part of the Computer Safe.

The power adapter and USB chords are in the Kitchen cabinet by the laptop counter.
