The Internet Service Provider (SHAW) provides us with a free Internet Security package available from their website at Shaw Secure.

This product suite includes:

• Virus Protection

• Internet Shield (Firewall)

• Anti-spyware

• E-mail Scanning

• System Control

• Parental Control

• Spam Control

• Security News

• Auto-Update features

Install Software

If it become necessary to re-install the security software on an existing computer or install on a new one, go the Shaw Secure website and follow the install procedure there.

Operation

Once installed, the security software runs automatically in the background.

It automatically downloads and installs all new virus detection software that it needs.

You can access the Shaw Secure controls from the Start Menu/Programs, or right-click on the icon (Blue Ball) in the System Tray in the Task Bar.
