Use this procedure to create a new encrypted file that can then be mounted in Windows like a drive to contain its own set of secure documents.
Open TrueCrypt from the Start Menu.
Click the Create Volume button.
Select Create an Encrypted File Container and click Next
Select Standard TrueCrypt Volume.
Click Select File to browse to where you want to store and name the new encrypted file.
Select the type of encryption to be use. Use the defaults such as AES.
Choose how much space to allocate for the file.
This is impotant, since it is like creating a new disk drive, you need to estimate enough space to hold all the documents you want encrypted.
Choose a password.
Record this in the Safe, there is no way to open this file again if you forget the password.
Choose NTFS for the file system instead of the default FAT.
Click Format to finish.
